Chadwich Boseman lost his life in 2020 to cancer at the age of 43 years old.

Lebron James has vowed for the school to be a place that students and parents can feel supported in careers, education, and on an emotional level. “We are going to be that groundbreaking school that will be a nationally recognized model for urban and public school excellence, “We are letting people know it is about true wrap-around support, true family integration, and true compassion,” says “I Promise” principal and Akron, Ohio native Brandi Davis. Lebron James has tweeted that he was the skinny kid that attended public school and once missed 83 days while in the fourth grade but yet and still had big dreams.
