In Dedication Of Civil Rights Icon John Lewis

The home going for civil rights icon John Lewis was nothing but stellar. The service of events included Washington, D.C.; Selma, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia. One part of his special two week long home going services was the casket motorcade traveling over the Edmund Pettus ( a white supremacist) Bridge where he was physically beaten marching for voting rights in 1965. Many are asking that the bridge be renamed after John Lewis because of his on going “Good Trouble” fight for civil rights. A casket motorcade in this video clip is passing a mural that was dedicated to John Lewis in Atlanta, Georgia.

Please share any thoughts you may have on civil rights, voting rights or on the civil rights icon himself John Lewis.
